Sainsburys’ Active Kids

This year we would like to thank you for collecting Sainsburys’ Active Kids vouchers for the school. We have used them to buy new sports facilities for the pupils including the basketball nets in the playground. We are collecting them again so keep them coming in.

School Council

School Council have been working very hard to hear the voice of the students and what they want to see happening at school. There is a new rewards system where well-behaved students are praised for consistent good behaviour. Vouchers for Eldon Square can be won if behaviour continues to be excellent. However, there are also consequences involved for students, such as after school detention. Consequences usually occur from low-level disruption, such as shouting out.

The School Council are also enforcing anti bullying and are tackling it so it becomes a thing of the past. We urge anyone who is being bullied not to suffer in silence, but to come forward as bullying will be dealt with severely.

New coolers are to be installed into the school hall after Easter. The coolers will enable students who bring a packed lunch to keep their food and drinks cool.

Year 8 French Project

Year 8 have been working on the French Project since Christmas, studying and researching very hard to produce a performance to show their hard work. Please note that parents of Year 8 pupils are able to view the French Project, which will take place on the 22nd March.
